"Bnavan" Private Label Design by Backbone Branding

Challenge: Nowadays, when promised quality under «Natural Product» titles is rarely there, our client found a way of uniting quality and ecologically clean products of different farmers under one brand. Our challenge was to create a branding that would entirely communicate their vision and create a strong brand for this D2C business. "Bnavan" has an exact aim: to assemble the farmers' exclusively natural and high-quality products under one brand for spreading healthy and natural food. The brand delivers a variable assortment, and, first of all, there should be an economical budget package for the producer. Solution: So we created a concept of a Natural town, representing the life and adventures of its residents- cows, hens, goats, chickens. Different designs under this private label reflect various episodes from farm life. As our client's business strategy is direct-to-customer, we opted for simple packaging with 1-2 colors graphic design solutions. Since printing is almost in one color with accents on details, it allows having affordable packages and creates the engagement effect with a crisp and animate design. It gives the designer infinite imagination to change the designs by creating new illustrations and stories from farm life. In contrast to retail, this type of business can quickly adapt the design to the market by changing the illustrations, consequently creating a strong emotional connection with the customers and firmly positioning the brand in the market.
