Can Packaging Design for El Luchador Ready-to-Drink Product Range Created by Van Heertum Design VHD

El Luchador Organic Tequila is a 110-proof, sustainably created, 100% organic Blanco tequila. Like the unique traditions of the luchador (wrestler), their tequila is a unique, distill-proof expression created with the tequila connoisseur in mind. For the next step in their brand development, they created three different cocktails with their tequila for a RTD (ready to drink) proposition. The following cocktails where created: Sparkling Classic Lime Margarita -The Classic Lime Margarita contains all-natural lime and orange flavors that are significantly enhanced by the velvety, agave-driven flavors of El Luchador. Sparkling Paloma - A refreshing Paloma provides the perfect blend of crisp grapefruit and lime flavors expertly balanced with El Luchador Tequila. Sparkling Blood Orange Margarita - Vibrant describes the Blood Orange Margarita. The classic Margarita crafted with El Luchador and exotic natural blood orange flavors enhanced with a touch of lime. For these three cocktails we created the packaging designs inspired by the brand and the origin of Mexico. The colors of the Mexican flag have been used as the base colors for the different cocktails, which also, color wise, fit the different cocktails perfectly. The head of the Luchador is the main character of the brand, and to stay close to the sustainable and organic heart of the brand the illustration is made by hand and cut out of wood, to create a stamp for it, that is used on all packaging. Next to the cans we created multiple box packaging; for each can a four pack and shipping boxes for multiple four packs. All in the same style and signature. When stacking the different cocktail shipping boxes, the Mexican flag comes back to live again.
