Navas produces premium tonic waters, soda water and ginger ale using natural botanicals, plant extracts and Cornish spring water. Dedicating the same careful attention to blending ingredients and complex flavours that distillers do, their mixers are designed to complement and enhance premium spirits. They came to us to help them create a modern brand that communicated their natural, diligently crafted, premium product from Cornwall. We wanted Navas to stand out in the drinks market, both on its own and alongside spirits, and not just be seen as a secondary product. With this in mind we developed a bold brand, juxtaposing Cornish geology-inspired organic patterns with bright and contemporary colour palettes. We paired this with a sophisticated Romanesque logotype that reflects Navas' refined approach, with a bold, clean ‘N’ shaped asset that forms a highly recognisable label shape. The overall result is a fresh, confident and premium brand identity. The brand name adds to the Cornish story too, reiterating their connection to the Helford River and the small creek village, Port Navas. Navas launched in 2019, and successfully gained over fifty stockists in Cornwall on and off trade. Since 2019, Navas have increased their range, which now incorporates further mixers. With ginger beer, garden tonic and soda water all now part of the Navas family, the full range is looking complete.
