Guerilla marketing starts from the ground up and this message has now spread. With consumers' increased desire for natural products, the demand for organic wine has grown exponentially. For the love of the grape and the joy that it brings, Garden Gangsta produce rockin’ wines that are crafted to exhibit the vibrancy and the supa freshness of Mother Nature! Viva the revolution! Garden Gangsta showcases environmentally sustainable organic wines from this collective of passionate vignerons from the Central Ranges in Australia. Their healthy camaraderie epitomises the new winemaking wave with a retro twist. The Central Ranges, in New South Wales, is a sprawling wine zone on the western side of the Great Dividing Range and west of the Blue Mountains with pockets both quite warm and dramatically cold. Without the use of synthetic fertilisers, herbicides, insecticides or fungicides, Garden Gangsta produce their wines the way wines were produced centuries ago. Being organic requires a different way of thinking and farming. Minimal ‘unnatural’ intervention in the field requires natural preparations and composts, to bring the soil and the vine into balance. It requires understanding, vigilance and consideration of environment and consequences. The whole picture. It's an environmentally friendly way of producing grapes that's all about keeping a natural balance in the vineyard and the surrounding area. Organic wine grapes are much healthier and therefore produce heartier skins and higher concentrations of all of those ‘good for you’ anthocyanins and antioxidants, including polyphenols and cardio-friendly resveratrol. They contain no genetically modified (GM) ingredients. Exemplifying this growing grassroots movement, the labels revel in all the goodness and naturalness - with a healthy edge of attitude. The illustration features our goddess gardener crowned with the flourishing plants and fruits of her labour, ensconced with her friends. As our modern day 'mother nature', she embodies the thoughtfulness, respect and passion invested into these vineyards and their produce. The labels are printed on FSC® certified paper.
